Norton Rose Fulbright advises rPlus Energies in securing more than US$1 billion in financing for Green River Energy Center

Lawyers from Norton Rose Fulbright represented renewable energy developer rPlus Energies as borrower in securing more than US$1 billion in construction debt financing for its solar-plus-storage project located in Emery County, Utah.
The project, Green River Energy Center, is one of the largest planned solar-plus-storage facilities in the state. Once constructed, the project will consist of 400 MW solar PV generation with a 400 MW/1,600 MWh battery energy storage system.
rPlus Energies is focused on developing, financing, constructing, owning and operating strategically-located, cost-competitive, large-scale renewable energy generation and storage projects. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, the company supports industries and utilities in achieving their renewable energy goals while also contributing to the modernization of the bulk electric system.
