Los Angeles County Bar Association appoints Norton Rose Fulbright’s Los Angeles Partner-in-Charge as President-Elect

Jeff Margulies, Partner-in-Charge of Norton Rose Fulbright’s Los Angeles office, has been elected President-Elect of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA). Effective July 1, Jeff will serve in this position for the 2024 – 2025 bar year and will automatically become LACBA President at the end of the term.
The 2024 – 2025 LACBA Officers and Board of Trustees were installed at an awards dinner on June 27. In addition to his installment as President-Elect, Jeff was also honored with the Samuel L. Williams Outstanding Trustee Award.
Jeff, who has been with Norton Rose Fulbright for two decades, said:
“I am excited to work alongside LACBA leadership to pursue opportunities for growth and tackle challenges that may arise. LACBA has been an instrumental component of my career trajectory and I am honored to be selected to give back in this way.”
Jeff has been actively involved in LACBA leadership for more than 15 years. He has been a member of the Environmental Law Section since 2006 and a member of the Board of Trustees since 2019. He was elected as an officer and member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees in 2022, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and Treasurer and chairing the Finance Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the LACBA Counsel for Justice, the charitable arm of LACBA.
Jeff’s practice focuses on litigation, compliance and regulatory issues regarding consumer products and the companies that manufacture, distribute and sell them. He defends companies in consumer class action litigation matters relating to false advertising, product compliance and privacy issues. His regulatory practice involves a variety of state, federal and international environmental, product safety, chemical management and related regulatory issues, advertising and labelling requirements, as well as consumer privacy, and encompasses compliance, enforcement and litigation.
