Norton Rose Fulbright advises Zurich on investment in Cowbell Cyber

Norton Rose Fulbright’s insurance transactional and venture capital teams recently advised client Zurich Insurance Group (Zurich) on a US$60 million investment in Cowbell Cyber, a leading provider of cyber insurance for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). The transaction was announced on July 26, 2024.

Zurich is a leading multi-line insurer serving people and businesses in more than 200 countries and territories. This investment in Cowbell Cyber allows Zurich to better support its SME customers with leading cyber protection solutions. The deal also bolsters Zurich’s commitment to supporting businesses with state-of-the-art cyber protection and resilience solutions and its ambition to leverage best-in-class technology and expertise to address the evolving complexities of cyber risk management.
