United States | Press release - Recognition | April 2025
Norton Rose Fulbright won in the category of “Headquarters Move” at the Houston Business Journal’s 2025 Landmark Awards for its move to the new Norton Rose Fulbright Tower overlooking Discovery Green in downtown Houston.
The annual Landmark Awards honor significant commercial real estate projects and leaders in the industry in Houston. Winners were announced in each of the 12 project categories at an award ceremony in Houston on April 24.
Following the Houston office’s 2024 move, the firm now boasts the most sustainable office development in Houston to date. Located at 1550 Lamar, Norton Rose Fulbright is the anchor tenant of the certified LEED Platinum building. The highly efficient space was intentionally designed to promote a sense of indoor-outdoor connectivity, incorporating natural light and open spaces with tall ceilings and a landscaped terrace offering views of downtown Houston.
The firm’s move to the new Norton Rose Fulbright Tower was led by Carter Dugan, the Houston office’s Partner-in-Charge who served as Houston Administrative Partner through this process, and Kevin O’Gorman, the firm’s Global Co-Head of International Arbitration who was the Houston office’s Partner-in-Charge until December 2024.
The firm closely collaborated with developer Skanska, contractor Structure Tone Southwest, architect Rottet Studios and broker CRBE to implement this project and create a space that reflects the firm’s commitment to providing world-class client service in its second century in Houston.
