American Bar Association honors Ben Montanez and firm for pro bono work

The American Bar Association (ABA) Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service recently recognized San Antonio partner Ben Montanez for outstanding pro bono contributions to the ABA Free Legal Answers program.
The ABA committee named Ben and the firm 2024 Pro Bono Leaders for their extraordinary pro bono services through ABA Free Legal Answers. This honor recognizes lawyers, law firms and other corporate law departments for answering 50 or more pro bono questions through ABA’s Free Legal Answers.
Ben personally answered 95 civil legal questions on Free Legal Answers last year. The firm fielded a total of 100 questions on the online platform. ABA Free Legal Answers is an online service where clients can ask questions related to civil legal issues from volunteer lawyers. This is part of ABA’s wider initiative to narrowing the justice gap for all.
Ben’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, venture capital, private equity transactions and general corporate and contract law.
