88th Texas Legislature

Lawmakers filed a record 8,046 bills during the 140-day regular session of the 88th Texas Legislature that adjourned on May 29, 2023. While healthcare social and political issues were the headline-grabbing topics, several notable changes were made to laws that have health regulatory, licensing and operational impact.
