Focus on LGBTIQ+

Pride is a network of lawyers and business services professionals who aim to create a safe and collaborative environment for the LGBTIQ+ community. 

Our objectives

  • Creating a more accepting environment for LGBTIQ+ individuals
  • Engaging allies of the LGBTIQ+ community
  • Encouraging the recruitment, retention, advancement and professional development of LGBTIQ+ talent
  • Supporting the practice’s business by developing contacts with clients who are members of the LGBTIQ+ community
  • Providing opportunities to participate in volunteering and pro bono initiatives that support the LGBTIQ+ community
  • Providing guidance to management on the development and implementation of supportive LGBTIQ+ policies
  • Creating a dynamic LGBTIQ+ community in the practice 

Leadership

The co-chairs of the Pride Network are Denton Nichols (Houston) and Mark A. Robertson (New York). The vice chair is Rachel Rosenfeld (Washington, DC).

Initiatives and activities for social and professional development

Our initiatives and activities focus on promoting our mission and objectives, including:

  • Holding meetings and other networking opportunities through which members of Pride at Norton Rose Fulbright get to know each other
  • Organizing annual firmwide and office-specific LGBTIQ+ educational events to engage LGBTIQ+ allies
  • Partnering with clients and local organizations to provide pro bono and other community services for disadvantaged communities in the cities where we work
  • Participating in and sponsoring initiatives and activities of LGBTIQ+ organizations
