Biography
Alison is an expert in banking, financial services and individual high net worth disputes lawyer based in London. She also focuses on regulatory investigations, asset enforcement/recovery work, reputation and crisis management.
She previously spent 15 years as Head of Global Dispute Resolution, UK, Channel Islands and Nordics at BNP Paribas so is fully conversant with client-side pressures understanding the importance of governance and stakeholder management.
Her experience extends to managing all the major cross-border investigations impacting the financial industry since the 2008 financial crisis and dealing with multiple regulatory authorities (inc. SFO, FCA, PRA, US DoJ, SEC, CFTC, FED, ICE). Her expertise also covers mis-selling claims, shareholder disputes, whistleblowings, financial crime/compliance advisory work, bondholder litigation, pensions rectification claims and extensive experience in trust-related litigation, wealth management disputes and global asset recovery.
Alison is currently President of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal, the first female to hold the position.
