Travis Walker is a senior associate practising in the cybersecurity and data privacy team. Travis acts as external privacy and "breach coach" counsel to clients from a diverse range of industries in relation to all manner of data and privacy breaches. He guides clients through each phase of breach response and remediation, including restoration of data systems, retention of forensic experts, notification to affected individuals and stakeholders, and reporting to regulatory authorities. Travis also consults on developing and implementing information governance policies and procedures, including incident response plans, privacy policies and breach preparedness.

Travis has a broad defence litigation background and has represented data controllers and third-party service providers in disputes arising from data loss and unauthorized access to information.

Prior to joining us, Travis practised in the cyber and privacy liability group of a national speciality lines insurance law firm.
