Singapore office advises on PLN’s first green loan

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised a consortium of lenders on a US$750 million loan for Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), which is also PLN’s first USD Syndicated Green Loan. The loan adheres to the green loan principles published by the industry’s leading loan associations, including the Asia Pacific Loan Market Association (APLMA). 

PLN is Indonesia’s state-owned electric utility company, wholly-owned by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and is one of the companies with the largest assets in Indonesia. 

The Norton Rose Fulbright team advising on this loan is led by banking and finance partner Nick Merritt who was supported by associate Tina Teo.
