Norton Rose Fulbright advises ProLogium on strategic partnership with VinFast
Global | Press release - Business | July 2022
Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright once again advised ProLogium Technology (“ProLogium”) on a strategic partnership and investment to strengthen their position in both commercial and technological fields. The partnership with VinFast aims to fulfill market demands of electronic vehicles equipped with safe, high-performance and environmentally friendly batteries.
With VinFast’s investment and the Memorandum of Understanding setting out strategic corporation arrangements, ProLogium plans to provide solid state battery cells to VinFast starting from 2024 through their first major solid-state battery plant.
The Norton Rose Fulbright team was led by Hong Kong private equity and M&A partner Peggy Wang. Following investments by Mercedes-Benz and POSCO earlier in the year, this is the third transaction that the team has supported ProLogium.
Peggy commented: “We’re grateful for the continuous trust that ProLogium has in our team and delighted to once again support ProLogium in this strategic partnership and notable investment with VinFast.”
