Information Commissioner’s Office publishes guidance on using children’s data
United Kingdom | Publication | January 2023
The ICO has published guidance on how children’s personal data should be handled under the UK GDPR. This guidance could be useful for trustees when processing children’s data in relation to children’s pensions and death benefits. It sets out the child-specific considerations which may apply, as children may be less aware of the risks, consequences and safeguards concerned and their rights in relation to the processing of personal data.
