Warsaw team advises fund managed by RGreen Invest on financing construction of PAD RES PV portfolio in Poland

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright advised RGreen Invest SAS on financing provided to PAD RES in relation to construction of a 76 MWp PV portfolio in Poland composed of 14 PV projects on a fully merchant basis.
Founded in 2013 by Nicolas Rochon, RGREEN INVEST is an independent French investment management company with a mission to enable the channeling of investor capital towards financing projects that accelerate the world’s energy transition, adaptation to climate change and mitigation of its effects. PAD RES is a development company which specializes in the development of renewable energy projects, infrastructure investments and commercial real estate. It manages all operations necessary for the successful development of projects to stage “ready for construction” or “ready for operation.” The company obtained building permits for various energy projects with a total capacity of more than 500 MW and supervised the construction of numerous investments.
The Warsaw team was led by associate Igor Kondratowicz and senior associate Cezary Zawiślak. Partner Tomasz Rogalski, along with associates Igor Kondratowicz and Patryk Gelar, advised on finance aspects of the transaction. Partner Tomasz Rogalski, senior associate Cezary Zawiślak and lawyer Jakub Chmiel advised on legal due diligence aspects. The entire Norton Rose Fulbright team worked under the supervision of partner Tomasz Rogalski, who heads the firm’s Warsaw energy and infrastructure practice.
