Biography
Maxim Vakhromov is a derivatives and structured finance lawyer based in Singapore.
Prior to joining Norton Rose Fulbright, Maxim worked for a number of large investment banks and global investment firm in London and Atlanta. He has an extensive experience of a broad range of capital markets transactions, with a particular focus on OTC derivatives, structured products and structured finance transactions.

- Negotiated a variety of industry-standard transaction documentation facing dealer counterparties, including ISDA, Futures agreement & Cleared Derivatives Addendum, MSFTA, Repo/MRA, NDAs, Account Control Agreements, Listed Options Agreements, Electronic Trading/Platform Agreements, Master Confirmations
- Advised on the enforceability of netting arrangements, additional termination events, specific bankruptcy provisions and security interests
- Oversaw implementing of EMIR and Dodd-Frank regulatory requirements including negotiations of bespoke bilateral agreements with counterparties
- Advised global agricultural merchant on licensing and reporting obligations for its derivatives and bond trading business
