Biography
Shakir Mogalia is a corporate, asset management and investment funds lawyer based in Dubai.
Shakir advises clients on a wide range of fund and corporate law matters. He regularly advises on funds and fund structures across the Middle East (including DIFC (DFSA), ADGM (FSRA)) and Luxembourg.
Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Shakir worked as legal counsel of funds and asset managers in relation to the structuring of their investment vehicles across different types of asset classes (including private equity funds, real estate funds, infrastructure funds, debt funds and hedge funds).
Shakir is recognised as a Rising Star for UAE: Investment Fund Formation and Asset Management by Legal 500 EMEA 2024, with the directory noting, "Shakir Mogalia notably stands out as an integral supporting presence on multiple mandates, working across a range of asset classes such as private equity funds, real estate funds, and debt funds."
