Biography
Jérémie Wyatt, a lawyer in the business law group, focuses his practice on information technology, privacy and cybersecurity, as well as the life sciences sector. He has a keen interest in privacy law and cyber law. Jérémie acts as legal counsel to clients affected by cyber incidents and provides advice on issues related to information technology and personal information management.
In addition, he frequently assists clients in marketing new technologies, from commercial negotiations with third parties, through to deploying technological solutions. He is also interested in the new issues raised by the arrival of artificial intelligence.
His practice also focuses on life sciences, and he is interested in issues surrounding using technology in health care. He frequently advises clients on managing personal health information and related issues, negotiating research contracts, as well as regulatory issues surrounding emerging health issues such as telemedicine, precision medicine and using applications and other innovative technologies in health care, both at home and in health care institutions. He looks at the use of personal information for research purposes, as well as the management of patient consent to participating in clinical studies.
Jérémie has been involved in drafting a number of articles and in preparing various conferences on these topics. While in law school, he was a research assistant in the field of blockchains and the law. He also had the opportunity to spend one session studying at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, in the Netherlands, during which time he familiarized himself with international law considerations.
