Kamya Gopal is a litigation and dispute resolution lawyer based in London. She focusses on litigation, international arbitration and alternative dispute resolution in the transport sector. 

Kamya has acted for airlines, lessors, financiers, charterers and operators in disputes relating to maintenance and redelivery obligations under aircraft leases, worldwide repossessions and enforcement action of aircraft and vessels, shipbuilding contracts, charterparties and general contractual disputes.  She also represents clients in space and satellite disputes and advises vessel owners and operators on various regulatory and contractual matters. 

Kamya has represented parties in the English High Court and arbitrations before the ICC and LMAA.

Kamya trained with the firm and completed secondments to the dispute resolution team in the Dubai office and to a leading insurance broker, before qualifying as a solicitor in August 2023.
