Biography
Shahin Foroughian is a corporate finance lawyer based in Singapore.
His focus is on corporate and commercial matters and he advises clients on: cross-border mergers; acquisitions; disposals and restructurings; joint venture and strategic alliance arrangements; general corporate law; and corporate governance matters.
Shahin qualified as a lawyer in 2011 and has worked in New Zealand, London and Singapore.
He has previously worked in-house at a multinational Australian-listed company.

- French insurer AXA on the acquisition of 50 percent of the Chinese property and casualty insurance joint venture AXA Tianping based in Shanghai, a deal which marks AXA as the first foreign insurer to own 100% of a top 20 property and casualty insurance company in China.
- Kacific Broadband Satellites Group (Kacific) on credit facilities totalling US$160 million to finance the construction, launch, ground system and initial operation for "Kacific1", a Boeing-built next-generation high-throughput Ka-band satellite.
- UK-based infrastructure group Balfour Beatty and Hong Kong-based diversified-industry group company Jardine Pacific on a 100% joint stake sale of the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) College West PPP Project, a privately-financed vocational college in Singapore. The deal marked the first secondary market sale of an infrastructure public-private partnership (PPP) in Singapore.
- Louis Dreyfus Company on its acquisition of a 30% interest in Allegro Aqua Pte Ltd and the concurrent sale of its interest in Allegro Aqua to Barramundi Asia Pte.
