Warsaw team advises Panattoni on construction of BTS facility for Poczta Polska

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Panattoni as the developer on the construction of a new BTS (Built-to-Suit) logistic centre in Radzymin, to be developed for Poczta Polska, the state postal service.
The over 50,000 square-meter BTS facility, will be BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) certified and is the newest and most cutting-edge investment, part of Poczta Polska’s new strategic development plan.
The Warsaw team negotiated a long-term lease agreement based on which Panattoni is developing the facility and is continuing to provide legal advisory regarding the construction process.
Panattoni, one of the key clients of Norton Rose Fulbright in Poland, is an industrial property market leader in Europe and an industrial space developer whose goal is to support local business by providing multi-functional built-to-suit warehouse facilities.
Poczta Polska is the state postal service provider, initially founded in 1558. It is the largest mail-handling company in the country, which additionally provides courier, banking, insurance and logistics services.
The transaction was led by senior associate Jakub Kowalczyk, supported by associate Magdalena Olechniewicz-Blocher from Warsaw’s real estate and construction team. Magdalena Zienkiewicz, partner, supervised the transaction.
