Norton Rose Fulbright represents Wan Bridge in formation of multibillion dollar joint venture
United States | Press release - Business | October 21, 2021
Norton Rose Fulbright represented Wan Bridge, a Texas-based builder and operator of build-to-rent communities, in the formation of a multiyear, multibillion dollar joint venture with an investment-grade US institution.
The new partnership will focus on a build-to-core strategy, allowing Wan Bridge and its partner to be long-term owners of the developed assets. Wan Bridge plans to deliver an estimated 30,000 homes within the next five years, mostly in the suburbs of the major metropolitan areas in Texas. With more than US$650 million assets under management, Wan Bridge builds and manages communities for a customer base which prefers to rent rather than own homes.
Brett Todd (Dallas), Katie Van Dyk (Austin) and Luke Maher (St. Louis) led this transaction. Norton Rose Fulbright’s Wan Bridge team also includes Andrius Kontrimas (Houston), Chuck Powell (Houston), Valerie Medina (San Antonio), Ammad Waheed (Houston), Amelia Xu (Houston) and Jennifer Xiaodan Zhang (Dallas).
