Following a consultation, the Regulator has published a final version of its guidance to help schemes get to grips with their new climate change governance and reporting obligations.
Designed to be read alongside the DWP’s statutory guidance and intended as a practical guide, the Regulator’s guidance includes examples of ways trustees can comply with the regulations.
In its consultation response accompanying the guidance, the Regulator emphasises that as this is a new and developing area, not all advisers will have the right capabilities to help. It is critical that trustees choose appropriately skilled and competent people to give them the support they need.
