Simon is a corporate lawyer who provides corporate and regulatory advice to clients in the global insurance sector, with a particular focus on Lloyd’s and structured reinsurance arrangements.

Simon’s experience includes advising clients on acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, insurance portfolio transfers, restructurings and regulatory and corporate governance matters. He is a market-leading expert on arrangements for entering, participating in and exiting the Lloyd’s market.

Simon has spent time on secondment with Lloyd’s, AIG Europe and QBE European Operations and recently authored a chapter on insurance portfolio transfers, which was published in the Lloyd’s Research Handbook on International Insurance Law and Regulation.
