Biography

Rahul Mansigani is a dispute resolution and litigation lawyer based in London. He acts on a wide range of contentious matters, with a particular focus on invoice and payment fraud, insurance issues, M&A disputes, and cyber litigation.

Rahul has acted and led on a number of high-value matters, including advising a global bank on its annual insurance policy renewals and insurance claims over a ten-year period and defending a global bank in claims relating to fraudulent multi-million-dollar payments arising from cyber hacks of customer systems.

Rahul is co-chair of the Norton Rose Fulbright Pride Network, running a number of internal and external events and campaigns. He won the firm’s inaugural Responsible Business award in 2024 for his work in this role. He is also highly involved in the firm’s pro bono practice, including acting for a global charity in relation to proceedings in the European Court of Human Rights.

Rahul joined the practice in April 2013 and qualified into the dispute resolution team in April 2015.

He read Law at the University of Cambridge and went on to complete the LPC at BPP Law School in London.

  • Advising a major technology company in relation to significant customer claims arising from a high-profile data breach, and the complex cyber     and business interruption insurance claim relating to the breach
  • Acting on insurance claims relating to the 2024 Crowdstrike outage and other major technology outages
  • Advising on insurance cover for directors of high-profile distressed businesses, and in relation to criminal proceedings and the Grenfell Inquiry
  • Defending a national law firm in the high-profile Accident Exchange litigation
  • Acting for a global insurer on a number of business-critical warranty and indemnity insurance claims
  • Successfully defending an expedited case under the Arbitration Act 1996 before the Court of Appeal
