Biography

Jenny Choi strategically navigates management in employment and labor matters. Her experience includes defending companies in all phases of litigation against claims of discrimination, harassment and retaliation under the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) as well as alleged violations of wage and hour laws.

Jenny advises clients on personnel issues from pre-employment through separation including trade secret violations by former employees, and labor relations issues including grievance arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining negotiations and union avoidance. She also conducts workplace investigations and trainings. She is sought out for her ability to efficiently identify, navigate and resolve issues with entire business operations and priorities in mind.

Jenny defends employers in state and federal courts throughout California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, binding arbitrations and government agencies including the California Civil Rights Department (CRD) and National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
