Biography
Wouter Kolkman is a tax lawyer based in Amsterdam. He has over a decade of experience in international indirect tax: VAT, customs and transfer taxes. He advises multinational clients on international VAT and customs implications of e-commerce, supply chain restructurings and mergers & acquisitions. Wouter also acts for multinational clients in a wide range of sectors including consumer goods, technology, financial services and manufacturing.
Wouter is an attorney-at-law (registered with the Amsterdam bar) and a tax advisor. Wouter received his law degrees at Leiden University and completed a post-master in EU customs law at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Wouter (co-)authored the first handbook of its kind on GCC VAT and, at his previous firms, was seconded to Dubai and London.
