Norton Rose Fulbright advises Innovatec in COBAT shares acquisition

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Innovatec S.p.A. (Innovatec) in the legal due diligence, drafting and negotiation of all the agreements relating to the entry of Innovatec into the corporate capital of COBAT S.p.A. Società Benefit (COBAT).

The entry was achieved through the acquisition of shares representing 56.45% of COBAT issued share capital.

Innovatec is a stock joint company listed on Euronext Growth Milan which is active in the energy efficiency and environmental sustainability sectors. COBAT is an Italian leader company and platform active in offering customer services for the collection, storage and recycling of waste such as batteries, accumulators, electrical and electronic equipment as well as end-of-life tires. 

Luigi Costa, Milan-based partner who led the team, commented: “This deal accelerates the ecological transition path and strengthens the ability of Innovatec to develop projects of circular economy by expanding its market share in end-to-end services, as well as to become leader in the rapidly growing market of batteries recovery.
