Four partners of St. Louis-based Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner have jumped to the local office of global law firm competitor.

Norton Rose Fulbright said the additions of Kevin Fischer and Bruce Baty, former co-leaders of BCPL's Transactional and Regulatory Insurance Group, will enhance it's US corporate insurance practice. They are joined by BCLP partners Michael Schwartz and Jodi Adolf.

The new Dutch Act on the Abolition of Assignment Prohibitions has finally been adopted: What does it promise for receivables-based finance in the Netherlands?

On 4 March 2025 the Dutch Senate adopted the Proposal Act on the Abolition of Assignment Prohibitions (Wet opheffing verpandingsverboden), following adoption by the House of Representatives on 11 June 2024. Although the proposal still needs to be signed into law, it can be expected to enter into force on a date to be announced.
