Shanna joined our Amsterdam office in October 2021 after an extensive career in the accounting industry. Since joining NRF, she has qualified as an Associate, in addition to her role as a Tax Advisor.

When she decided to become a lawyer, it was important for Shanna to continue working in an international firm, just like she did in accountancy, where she could engage in cross-border projects.

Each day brings new tax laws, regulations, and rules to consider while working on cross-border cases. Shanna has found that NRF is highly supportive, providing both time and financial assistance for her to pursue any course that can enhance her knowledge.

Being part of a close and supportive team, Shanna can work hours that suit her work-life balance, thanks to NRF's hybrid working model. She also values celebrating successes together with her colleagues.

Always say yes and take the adventure

Shanna has had opportunities to travel for her role, work on projects beyond her usual responsibilities, and try new teams. She has learned a great deal by taking the leap and saying yes to new experiences.
