Biography
Meghan Fougere practises in our litigation and disputes group, primarily providing legal advice and representation to clients in the construction industry.
Meghan regularly assists clients with negotiating, mediating, arbitrating and litigating construction disputes, including construction liens, trust claims, delay and impact claims, deficiency claims, labour and material payment bond claims, negligence claims and contract disputes. She also has experience negotiating various forms of construction contracts. She represents suppliers, subtrades, general contractors and owners and appears before all levels of court in Ontario.
Meghan also has experience assisting clients with commercial contract disputes outside of the construction industry, and also with mortgage enforcement through both power of sale proceedings and mortgage foreclosure actions.
She joined our Ottawa office as a summer student in 2012 and articled with us before being called to the Ontario bar.
