Norton Rose Fulbright advises on restructuring ‘Deal of the Year’ at IFLR Europe Awards 2024

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright’s restructuring team has advised as lead counsel on the winning deal in the ‘Deal of the Year - Restructuring’ category at the International Financial Law Review (IFLR) Europe Awards 2024. This follows the firm’s success in the same category of restructuring deal of the year at these Awards in 2022 and 2021.

The IFLR Europe Awards is an annual event seeking to recognise and celebrate legal excellence in deal-making, cross-border investment and regulation. The winning ‘Deal of the Year - Restructuring’ was awarded for the restructuring of international shipping company Vroon’s senior secured debt, the first restructuring to be carried out using a parallel English scheme of arrangement and Dutch WHOA plan.
