On 7 January 2025, the UK Government issued its guidance on a “no re-export to Russia” clause to support UK entities that are involved in the export and making available of Common High Priority Items (a list of electronic components used in Russian weapons systems) and any other items critical to Russian weapons systems and its military development. The guidance provides a template text for a “no re-export to Russia” clause and notes that the inclusion of such a clause into any existing or new export contracts would be considered good practice for exporters.
The UK Government’s full guidance note can be found here.
