Biography
Léa De Santis is a corporate and competition lawyer based in our Montreal office.
Her corporate practice covers all aspects of corporate and commercial law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, securities law as well as corporate governance. In addition to her transactional and advisory work, Léa has an active competition and antitrust practice which includes merger reviews and providing strategic advice to clients on civil and criminal matters, including mergers and acquisitions and competitor collaboration.

Léa has acted on behalf of the following clients:
- SNC-Lavalin Group Inc., in the transfer of SNC-Lavalin’s interest in the John Hart hydroelectric plant in British Columbia to the infrastructure investment vehicle SNC-Lavalin Infrastructure Partners LP
- Solutions Beyond Technologies Inc., in a complex transaction whereby it was acquired by Syntax Systems
- CAE Inc., in the sale of its health business to Madison Industries
- H2O Innovation Inc., in connection with the sale of all of its issued and outstanding shares, other than the shares rolled over by Investissement Québec, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and certain key executives of H2O, to Ember SPV I Purchaser Inc., an entity controlled by funds managed by New York-based private equity firm Ember Infrastructure Management, LP, for C$4.25 in cash per share. The transaction was effected by way of a statutory plan of arrangement under the Canada Business Corporations Act
