Biography
Dr. Tobias Teichner is a German qualified antitrust and competition lawyer based in Hamburg.
Tobias advises national and international clients on a range of German and EU competition and regulatory matters, including multi-jurisdictional merger and foreign direct investment control, internal investigations, and the establishment of joint ventures.
One focus of his work is foreign direct investment control. Tobias advised on many transactions and obtained clearances from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Action (BMWK). Most recently, he advised on larger transactions in the media and energy sector, which were finally cleared by BMWK.
Tobias studied law at the Universities of Hamburg and Prague, before completing his legal clerkship in Hamburg and his PhD at Bucerius Law School.
