Rosa Mottershead is an energy project finance lawyer based in London. She specialises in international energy projects, with a particular focus on power and renewables in emerging markets. She works on projects in Africa, the EMEA region and Europe.  She has extensive experience advising lenders (including DFIs, IFIs, ECAs and commercial banks), sponsors and governments on the development and financing of onshore wind, solar, hydro and biomass/biofuels projects.

Rosa has also advised on LNG regasification, gas storage and upstream oil and gas transactions, as well as the development of conventional power projects.

Rosa has been on client secondment with the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund, working closely with their team of investment officers.

Rosa qualified into the projects team at the firm in 2005
