Biography
Ji Won Kim is a senior associate in Norton Rose Fulbright's Los Angeles office. Ji Won advises clients on data protection, privacy, cybersecurity and governance issues. Her experience includes data security incident response and compliance with international, federal and state privacy laws and regulations. She guides clients through assessing privacy and security risks, identifying and remedying potential data security incidents, engaging with regulators, resolving related disputes and developing compliance programs.
Ji Won also has significant experience in cross-border investigations and litigation on behalf of clients across a wide spectrum of industries.
Prior to joining Norton Rose Fulbright, Ji Won provided counsel on privacy and data security, white-collar investigation and civil litigation matters at large law firms. Earlier in her career, she served as a judicial law clerk at the Michigan Supreme Court.
Ji Won is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).
