Biography
Jarret Stephens is a partner in Norton Rose Fulbright's New York Office and a member of the Firm's global real estate practice. Jarret represents institutional and private investors, both domestic and international, in all aspects of complex real estate transactions as well as international and domestic lenders in connection with real estate finance transactions. Her experience includes acquisitions/dispositions, joint ventures, sale/leasebacks, restructurings and workouts and loan transactions. Jarret has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by New York Super Lawyers for the past seven years.
Prior to entering the legal field, Jarret worked on Wall Street as an equity research analyst with a global investment bank and securities trading firm.
An active member of the community, Jarret serves on the Legal Advisory Council of Sanctuary for Families, the leading nonprofit organization in New York dedicated exclusively to serving the complex needs of domestic violence victims, sex trafficking victims, and their children. In addition, she does pro bono work with the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund and also sings with the Dalton Chorale.

- Advised privately held real estate owner/developer in connection with $129 million acquisition of a 2.5 million square foot portfolio of 35 office buildings in the Southeastern US
- Advised Fortune 500 financial services company in connection with $100 million joint venture investment in a Madison Avenue, New York office tower having a valuation of $540 million
- Advise foreign investors, including pension funds and sovereign wealth funds, in acquisitions and dispositions of real estate throughout the United States
- Advised Fortune 500 health services client in connection with real estate aspects of $3.1 billion acquisition of one of the nation's largest behavioral health operators
- Advised NYSE-listed retail company in connection with real estate aspects of $800 million asset acquisition of retail clothing company
- Advised a public national retailer in connection with real estate aspects of $780 million acquisition of a competing retail chain
- Advised NYSE-listed retail company in connection with real estate aspects of $100 million stock acquisition of retail clothing company
- Advised multinational electronics and ceramics manufacturer in connection with real estate aspects of $85 million stock acquisition of a machine tools company.
