London | October 21, 2019As part of our Global Inclusion Month, Norton Rose Fulbright invites you to a production on tales of wisdom, wonder and humour from Muslim Heritage by the multi-award-winning Khayaal Theatre Company.
Performances will comprise works of Muslim literature that have never before seen the lights of the stage. These will include “Flight to Abyssinia,” an account of how The Negus, a Christian king of Africa, granted safe haven to a group of Muslims fleeing persecution in Mecca as narrated by Lady Umm Salama and “On His Majesty’s Service” an adaptation of a Wolof tale from Senegal in which a minstrel sings King Sabar of Sedo an unsettling tune on the theme of humility and service.
We will close the evening with drinks, canapes and networking.
Please note this event is for Norton Rose Fulbright clients and employees only.
Please RSVP by Thursday, 4 October 2019.
We hope to see you at the event.
