Milan advises Dulevo on second-level company bargaining agreement

Global Press release - Business May 2023

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Dulevo International S.p.A. (Dulevo) on the drafting and negotiations with the relevant territorial and company labor union organizations of an important second-level company bargaining agreement (contratto aziendale di secondo livello).

Dulevo is part of Fayat Group. Dulevo is the leading Italian producer of machinery for sweeping, and floor- and street-washing for commercial, industrial and urban cleaning. It operates in more than 80 countries around the world.

The signed contract applies to approximately 200 employees and dictates an organic discipline that, exploiting the delegations conferred by law and by the reference CCNL (metal-mechanical industry), introduces important innovations on the subject of flexible work contracts, company welfare and working hours.

It also provides for the recognition (in favor of employees) of a variable performance result-based bonus, which accrues according to specific and innovative objective criteria and parameters agreed with the trade unions and connected to increase in productivity, quality, profitability and company economic performance.

The Norton Rose Fulbright team was led by Milan-based partner and Head of Employment for Italy, Attilio Pavone, assisted by senior associate Boris Martella.

Attilio Pavone commented: “Reaching this agreement with the trade unions was an important achievement. The new contract is innovative from a technical point of view and is the result of long and fruitful work and negotiations involving numerous interested parties.”
