Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright is advising JP Morgan Securities plc (JP Morgan) as financial adviser to American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings Inc. (AAM) on its £1.16 billion recommended cash and shares combination offer with Dowlais Group plc (Dowlais).
AAM designs, engineers and manufactures driveline and metal forming technologies to support electric, hybrid and internal combustion vehicles. Headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, AAM has over 75 facilities in 16 countries across North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia, employs approximately 21,000 employees globally and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
Dowlais is a specialist engineering group focused on the automotive sector which develops and delivers precisely engineered solutions that are shaping the future of the automotive industry through its two leading high-technology engineering businesses: GKN Automotive and GKN Powder Metallurgy.
