Norton Rose Fulbright advises DUAL Europe in acquisition of Swiss Re’s Marine team in Italy

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised DUAL Europe (DUAL) in its acquisition of Swiss Re’s Genoa-based Marine team, gaining the authority to write Marine business for Swiss Re going forward.

As a result of this transaction, DUAL significantly strengthens its presence in Europe, offering the international broker market access to a comprehensive suite of Marine solutions predominantly in Ocean and Inland Hull, Builders Risks, Cargo and Land-based Equipment. DUAL has plans to further expand and diversify its Marine product range.

The Norton Rose Fulbright team advising on this transaction was led by Milan-based partner Salvatore Iannitti, head of the corporate practice in Italy, with focus on extraordinary transactions and regulatory assistance to financial institutions.
