To mark International Women’s Day, we welcomed the Honourable Senator Salma Ataullahjan.
Appointed in 2010 to the Senate of Canada, she has made a lasting impression in the community with her commitment and dedication to others. In the Senate, she is currently the Chair of the Standing Committee on Human Rights and a member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade, as well as the Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans.
Discover the inspiring journey of the first Canadian senator of Pakistani and Pashtun origin, who stands for the ethnic diversity of all Canadians.
This session was hosted by two of our employee resource groups and aims to create opportunities for storytelling and to build women's self-belief, motivation and confidence by showcasing what they can achieve in their careers.
