Raj Karia is a corporate lawyer based in London. He is Global Head of Corporate, M&A and Securities.

He has a wealth of experience of advising companies and investment banks on M&A, equity capital markets, joint ventures and restructuring transactions. Raj has a particular knowledge of advising clients operating in the natural resources and energy sector.

Raj is listed as a leading individual in Legal 500, 2019. He is also described as being "a key name to note" and as heading a practice which demonstrates "first class client responsiveness and availability." Raj is also recognised as one of the leading mining lawyers in the International Who's Who of Mining Lawyers.

Raj joined the London practice in 1991 and qualified as a solicitor in 1993. He spent a year working for an investment bank before returning to resume his legal career in 1995. He became a partner in 2000.

Raj is a member of the Law Society of England & Wales.
