Biography

Charles St-Pierre practises business law, with a focus on private mergers and acquisitions and complex commercial arrangements. He also frequently advises clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial law matters.

Mr. St-Pierre has established a diverse law practice ranging from advising multinational corporations on cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions to advising emerging companies in various stages of their financing.

During his law studies, Mr. St-Pierre participated in our secondment program, during which he had the opportunity to work in the legal department of Desjardins.

  • Lithion Technologies Inc., a company that has developed an innovative solution for recycling lithium-ion batteries in a sustainable way, in connection with (i) its Series A financing for an amount of up to C$125 million, and (ii) ongoing corporate and commercial matters
  • CAE Inc. with its acquisition of Merlot Aero Limited (New Zealand)
  • Bombardier Inc. with the sale of its CRJ Aircraft Program to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries
  • French television production companies Newen and TF1 in connection with Newen's acquisition of a majority interest in Reel One Entertainment, a Canadian scripted content producer-distributor, and subsequent minority stake acquisition of Reel One by A&E Television Networks
