Pensions Order enabling Regulator to share restricted information with MaPS laid before Parliament

An Order was laid before Parliament on December 7, 2022, and enables the Regulator to disclose restricted information to the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) concerning its pensions dashboards role and to support delivery of pensions dashboard services. Restricted information is defined in the Pensions Act 2004 and means any information obtained by the Regulator in the exercise of its functions which relates to the business or other affairs of any person, subject to certain limited exceptions.
  
The Pensions Act 2004 (Disclosure of Restricted Information by the Pensions Regulator) (Amendment of Specified Persons) Order 2022 comes into force on December 28, 2022.
