Biography
Regina Chan is a banking and capital markets lawyer based in London. Regina focuses her practice on a broad range of structured finance transactions. In particular, she has advised arrangers, investors, originators, issuers, servicers and agents from numerous jurisdictions and sectors in various securitisation, warehouse financing, covered bonds and debt capital markets transactions. She also has experience in other areas including real estate development finance and project finance in the UK.

- An international provider of bridging loans to real estate developers and landlords on a £230m securitisation of a portfolio of residential and mixed use real estate mortgage loans in the UK
- A UK-based provider of credit card loans to SMEs on a £400m warehouse financing transaction
- The senior bank investors in relation to a EUR500m note financing of a portfolio of auto receivables from car dealers in various European jurisdictions
- A UK provider of consumer finance loans on its inaugural public securitisation and issuance of £600m notes backed by unsecured personal and point of sale loans
- An international diamond conglomerate on the issuance of USD80m notes secured against a portfolio of diamond inventory and receivables related to the sales of such inventory
- A UK-based primary and special servicer of commercial loans on a number of CMBS transactions, including transactions secured against UK hotel portfolios, Dutch commercial office and retail assets and Italian retail and commercial properties
- A global agglomerate of SMEs in its capacity as issuer on the establishment of a £50m MTN programme listed on the GEM of Euronext Dublin
- A UK-based arranger and dealer on a series of long-term social housing bond issuances
- A charitable care homes provider on numerous retail charity bond offerings on the London Stock Exchange.
