Biography
Farah is an intellectual property and dispute resolution lawyer based in London.
She advises clients on the full range of intellectual property rights (in particular, trade marks; passing off; copyright; design rights; database rights; trade secrets/confidential information), internet/online, media, social media, defamation and reputation management, data protection, cyber security, data breach response and other general commercial and contractual matters.
Farah acts for clients in various industry sectors, including technology, media, telecommunications, leisure, fashion, retail, financial institutions and pharmaceuticals.
Farah joined Norton Rose Fulbright in 2009. Whilst at Norton Rose Fulbright, Farah has worked in our Middle East practice and undertaken secondments to Orange and GlaxoSmithKline. Prior to joining the firm, Farah worked for the BBC, Ernst & Young and NBC Universal.
Farah is also a qualified Solicitor-Advocate, having obtained Higher Rights of Audience in England and Wales (Civil Proceedings) and has completed the Intellectual Property Law and Practice Diploma at the University of Oxford.
