Norton Rose Fulbright advises lenders and export credit agencies on GasLog merger with BlackRock

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright advised the commercial lenders and export credit agencies of all commercial facilities of the NYSE-listed GasLog and GasLog Partners group, in relation to the merger of GasLog with an affiliate of investment company BlackRock Global Energy & Power Infrastructure (GEPIF). Syndicates represented by Norton Rose Fulbright were led by Citi, ABN AMRO, Nordea, DNB, Credit Suisse, BNP Paribas and National Bank of Greece and included several other European, North American and Asian commercial banks as well as Korean export credit agencies KEXIM Bank and K-Sure.

NYSE-listed GasLog is an international owner, operator and manager of LNG carriers providing support to international energy companies as part of their LNG logistics chain. GasLog’s consolidated fleet consists of 35 LNG carriers. GasLog’s shares are to be delisted from NYSE. The merger and take private transaction did not include GasLog Partners.

The Norton Rose Fulbright team was led by Athens and London-based partner Yianni Cheilas and also included London-based shipping finance partner Richard Howley and London-based acquisition finance partner James Dunnett.
