Norton Rose Fulbright advises Cleversoft Group on Fineksus acquisition

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright and its alliance firm Pekin Bayar Mizrahi have advised the Germany-based Cleversoft Group (Cleversoft) on its acquisition of Turkish RegTech company Fineksus.
Cleversoft offers cloud-based RegTech solutions to more than 1,000 financial institutions worldwide, optimizing digital investment advisory and compliance-related business processes. Fineksus is a RegTech company offering financial messaging and anti-money Finek-laundering (AML) solutions in Turkey and the Middle East.
Norton Rose Fulbright and alliance firm Pekin Bayar Mizrahi advised on all aspects of the multi-jurisdictional deal, which also saw Cleversoft purchase Fineksus’ Dubai subsidiary, with the sale and purchase agreement governed by English law.
The Norton Rose Fulbright team advising on the deal was led by partners Andrew Davies in London and Jonathan Burton in Dubai, with support from Dubai-based associates Amira Nassar and Michael Stevens.
