Our Women in Maritime network hosted a virtual conversation with the host and producer of the Shipping Podcast, Lena Göthberg.

Christine Ezcutari and Olivia Cullen had a fascinating discussion with Lena, discussing observations of the careers of women in the maritime industry and ways in which we can all be a force for change to improve gender diversity for the next generation.

If you have not come across Lena before, Lena is a passionate advocate and has been working in the shipping industry for more than 25 years. She set up the Shipping Podcast more than seven years ago to speak with maritime professionals from across the industry about their views to raise the profile of the maritime industry. Her interviewees - from seafarers and engineers to finance professionals or those working with cutting edge technology - share a passion for the industry and its future.
