Life inside our firm

What is it really like working for a global law firm?

We strive to create an environment that becomes more than just a job. We want your life here to be full of experiences beyond work – whether that is learning something new, going on secondment or becoming part of one of our employee diversity networks.

Agile working

We have a flexible hybrid working model which allows you to choose which days you want to come to the office. To make sure you get the most out of your training contract we encourage trainees to be in the office for at least 3 days a week, ensuring you are learning by osmosis from a range of people in your team.

Secondments

Often referred to as one of the highlights of our training contract programme, the opportunity to do an overseas or client secondment is your chance to immerse yourself in a new culture and build your expertise in different areas, as well as experience life in another country whilst developing your network even further.

The women we are

We asked some of our colleagues who inspires, empowers and has invested in them throughout their life. Then we asked them to bring that person along and tell us why…

From the personal boardroom philosophy, to the importance of visible role models and the need for action to bring about real change, they explore these themes and ideas. Together.

As well as a supervisor for each seat, you have the same partner mentor for the full two years of your contract: someone you can go to for advice on anything at any stage. They’ll check in with you regularly too, just to make sure everything’s going OK. Former trainee
